On February 5, 2016, the Czech Bar Association was authorized 2. by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic to handle out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes in the area of disputes between a lawyer and a consumer arising from contracts for the provision of legal services (pursuant to Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended). The website of this authorized entity is www.cak.cz. The Czech Bar Association acts as a conciliation body in disputes between a consumer and a lawyer.
